“Ghost Fossils; Caustics From the Moonlight”, acrylic on canvas, 24″x36″, 2021

I’m proud to announce that my work has been selected for inclusion in this coming summer’s CAN Triennial. CAN Triennial 2022: You Are Here is a city-wide exhibition of Northeast Ohio art making, concurrent with FRONT International Cleveland Triennial for Contemporary Art, in July and August, 2022.  This event highlights the galleries and studios that support the regional culture by enabling and exhibiting works of Northeast Ohio artists.  It will take place in more than 15 venues, clustered in six Cleveland neighborhoods.

Art Opening Feb 4

I was invited to participate in the 2022 DayGlo art show at Waterloo Arts. This group show features art that exclusively uses DayGlo paints. The gallery will be under black light and guests will be able to view the show through 3D glasses. Each DayGlo pigment sits at a different depth when seen through 3D glasses, so pieces can become very dimensional if the paint is worked in the right way.

Ornament Auction

The result of a walk on the beach last week. Beach Creature – small pieces of driftwood were assembled into the shape of this guy, and then painted. None of the pieces were cut or altered in any way. This was created as a Christmas Ornament for the Waterloo Arts “ Art of the Ornament” benefit auction.
